"I only wish I had learned this way when I started 2 years ago.  This is so much easier!"  - Jen M 2009

Doug Levy of Horsham PA plans for RAAM 2008
with nutrition support from Joanna  of Nutrition in Motion.

RAAM is the ultra-marathon of cycling events!
Ride all across America continuously (and hope you get there before the others do.  so yes, it is still a race!!)  Doug completed it in 11 days, 4 hours.  wow.
Not only is the nutrition key in this kind of race, but so is the support throughout the training leading up the event!   so Help Doug get there!
Go to his website, and pledge your time or money!!

Doug just finished the Adirondack 540 in first place with a new record for the course!

Since starting her own business in 2004, Joanna will be competing less frequently than in past years.  Her time is devoted more to growing the business rather than training to be competitive.  Although she still enjoys the sport, Joanna is in more of a supportive role in helping other beginner and seasoned triathletes to swim more efficiently and improve their nutrition habits to maximize their training efforts.

Ever try these shoes?  They are absolutely the best and most comfortable shoes, once you get used to wearing them.
I like to call them 'instability shoes' since they make you engage so many muscles just to walk and stand - like putting two big wobble boards under your feet!  but so springy you can walk and stand in them for hours.
They really helped me this past year with getting rid of that last bit of Plantar Fascitis - and I wear them after I run or play tennis to get my body back in balance again!  They are really awesome!  I say everyone should have one, but then I want to be the only one, too!
