Sign up for Learn 2 Cook classes - either one class, the series or create your own Girls' Night Out with 4-8 of your closest friends.   We can do Recipe Makeovers - a healthier version of your favorite recipe.  Each class you will receive a belly full of samples, you get to cook, learn new skills and get a recipe booklet to take home!  Wine optional - if you bring it, you have the option to drink it!

Get Back to Your Roots-  Cooking root vegetables: roasted roots with butternut squash; mashed cauliflower with celery root; beets and fennel salad; rutabaga gratin   - April 12th 7 PM

 

Quick Quinoa  - Tabbouli salad, Pork loin with apricot balsamic marinade and broccoli n pepper salad; Quinoa, roasted chicken with herbs and seasonal vegetables, quinoa salad with veggies.

 

Gluten Free Stir Fry - Simple and easy meals!
Chicken with veggies (snow peas, peppers, etc); eggplant and beef with plum sauce; either on soba (buckwheat), rice noodles or even sweet potatoes!

 

Make Your Own Energy Bars – based on Thrive Diet recipes – Banana Nut, Apple Cinnamon, Cherry Chocolate, Ginger Pear and others. Mostly fruit, buckwheat or quinoa and nuts. So good!

Kasha with mushrooms and walnuts, sautéed Swiss chard with braised chicken breast; beef medallions in red wine reduction with soba noodles and sesame broccoli.

 

Quick Soups - Red lentil, zucchini and ginger soup;

'Roasted' carrot and ginger soup; stew of white bean, squash & kale

Quick Meals - who's got time to cook?  Here are some quick options:  Pan seared chicken with leeks, baked sweet potato and green beans almondine; layered portabello mushrooms with roasted peppers, zucchini, goat cheese and pine nuts

 

Stir Fry - simple and easy meals!
chicken with veggies; eggplant and beef with plum sauce; either on soba or rice noodles!

 

Leans and Greens - how to put lean proteins together with green veggies!   Hamburgers with spinach, parsley and parmesan; Swiss chard with garlic, pine nuts & cranberries; citrus kale; chicken braised with kale, cepes and soy.

Make your own energy bars with real fruit and alkalizing grains.  These are gluten-free and dairy and wheat free bars so everyone can eat them!  Bring all your athlete friends, too for a great treat.  $35 per person

 Juicing for Energy and Stamina class - great for athletes too!
We will be making all sorts of juice extractions and blender drinks to help give you    
more energy, lessen stress and even help you sleep better.  Recipes include Green  Monster, Banana Lullaby, and Morning Crunch.  $35 per person, or bring a friend and  both for only $30 each.  A booklet of recipes will be provided so you make them at home.
These are better than any ready-to-make powdered drink for recovery!

How to use Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil in cooking! 
 - recipes will include Coconut rice, pan seared leek with chicken, red pepper coulis (with hint of coconut milk!) and a stir fry and/or thai dish with coconut milk and spices.  Might be a quick soup, too with lentils and zucchini or not sure what yet!
